Formula Renault Asia Ryan was Paced by Rio BOLA, 12 December 2008 Rio Haryanto’s success on climbing the first podium Formula Asia 2.0 last week was paced his elder brother, Ryan Haryanto, to score the same achievement on series 13 and 14 Formula Renault which will be held on 13-14 December in Zhuhai International Circuit, China. Ryan wants to close the race in final series this year by a nice tap. Overall, Ryan didn’t have opportunity to be the champion. Scoring 139 points, the son of Sinyo Haryanto who was an ex-national racer sat on fifth position left far behind from provisional classification, Geoffrey Kwong, by scoring 252 points. “However, my personal target to climb the first podium has to be attained. I am inspired the achievement which was scored by my younger brother Rio,” said the driver of Asia Racing Team when he was contacted by BOLA on Wednesday night (10/12) and who had just arrived in China. Ryan’s optimism was based on the reality that he had ever been the fast in series 12th on 5th October.(yos)
